Regional Operations Manager

Applus+, a global leader in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector, seeks a highly skilled Regional Manager, Central, to establish the central operational division and lead the regional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic plans to grow the business, supporting the organization's profit targets, and developing a highly skilled workforce.
The Regional Manager will oversee operations in the region, mentoring staff and project managers, building client relationships, increasing revenue, and prioritizing safety. Occasional business travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain industry-leading performance in customer service, quality, and safety.
- Create and implement short and long-term business plans for the region.
- Develop and maintain operational plans with ongoing cost management, budget control, and performance management.
- Oversee and direct regional staff, including project management.
- Coordinate activities with other Applus regions to maximize benefits and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify opportunities for new business, services, and clients.
- Manage key accounts and maintain client relationships.
- Evaluate the business structure and staffing levels to ensure resources reflect current market conditions and demand.
- Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports to support high performance and employee development.
- Inform divisional employees on corporate strategy, objectives, and annual plans.
- Uphold and promote corporate values, standards, and processes.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- 10+ years' industry experience in supervisory management, quality management, project management, and/or business development in NDT or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's of Business Administration is an asset.
- Equivalent industry experience combined with other formal training and accreditations may be accepted.
- The physical environment requires working inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Occasional work outside of normal business hours may be required.
- Overtime may be required during the week and weekend with work volume.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedules and respond to requests without advance warning or notification.
