Freight Coordinator

Join ELEMENTS CARRIER INC as a Freight Shipper and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight, managing logistics, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine Method of Shipment: Analyze shipment requirements and select the most efficient transportation method.
- Schedule Distribution: Plan and coordinate the distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Create and manage bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Container and Crate Assembly: Assemble and prepare containers and crates for shipping.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and inventory management.
- Oversee Loading and Unloading: Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Freight forwarding company, trucking company, warehouse, commercial facility, or shipping company/agency.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanners.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
