Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire food service staff and provide guidance and support
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely service
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and team player
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 36 to 40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
