Production Supervisor

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers in our fish plant, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 16-20 workers in various areas of responsibility.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
- Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
The successful candidate will work in a fish plant environment, which may include dusty, cold, and noisy conditions. The ability to work outdoors and in a team environment is essential.
