About the Role

As a Food Service Supervisor at TIM HORTONS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and train a team of food service staff to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 food service staff members, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet work schedules and quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Hiring and Training: Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities to existing team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in basic math calculations.

Compensation and Working Conditions
  • Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends required.
