Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Evaluate Patients
You will conduct thorough patient assessments, evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Order Diagnostic TestsYou will order medical diagnostic tests, such as lab tests and imaging studies, to help diagnose and treat patients.
Implement Treatment PlansYou will work with patients to implement treatment plans, which may include medication, therapy, or other interventions.
Collaborate with Healthcare TeamYou will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements- Education
You must have a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
ExperienceExperience as a Physician Assistant is an asset, but not required.
CertificationsYou must have the required certifications for this role.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, providing patient care in a clinic or hospital setting.
