About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring nanny to join our team at Michelle Flynn. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the home is tidy and organized.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional development.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social growth.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced diet.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming environment.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Initiative and judgment, with the ability to make informed decisions and take responsibility for actions.
  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Patience and honesty, with the ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude in challenging situations.
