Job Title: Driver, Courier Service

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver to join our team at 1995598 ALBERTA LTD. As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Provincial/territorial transportation/travel experience
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job that requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. The job also requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
