We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Childhood Educator Support Specialist to join our team at Ontario Ltd.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be punctual, and have a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

As an Early Childhood Educator Support Specialist, you will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will also engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.

This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
  • Assist early childhood educators in keeping records.
  • Engage children in activities such as telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
