Software Development Manager for Amazon Consumables Shopping Experience

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC - K03. As a key member of our Consumables Shopping Experience team, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class shopping experience on our platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the definition and development of multi-tier web services
- Partner with product or program management teams to collect requirements and describe software product features
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective
- Deliver products against plan in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership
- Experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects
- Proven experience in solving challenging engineering problems with multiple constraints
