Job Title: Director of Research, Development and Engineering

ChampionX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Research, Development and Engineering to lead our Canadian operations. This is a critical role that will drive innovation and growth in our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technology strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead a team of scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions for our customers
  • Collaborate with global business and RD&E teams to ensure global connectivity and alignment
  • Manage resource allocations to support current business and new product projects
  • Drive the execution phases of new product development initiatives
  • Lead customer technical support operations and ensure high-quality output
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Marketing functions to maximize operational innovation
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in chemistry, engineering, biology, or related scientific/technical discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in technology strategy development and implementation, team leadership, and driving innovation
  • Proven track record of successful technology development, new product launch, and leveraging external technology
  • Significant experience operating in global technical and business environments
  • Agile change agent skills
