Job Title: University Guidance Counsellor

NOIC Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced University Guidance Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our academic support team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their tertiary education journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • University Guidance Counseling (70%):
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with reputable universities worldwide.
    • Provide academic advising, career counseling, and personal counseling to students.
    • Coordinate programs and resources to promote student success and well-being.
  • Individual Guidance and Counseling:
    • Support senior students in their transition to university.
    • Provide guidance on IB subject selection and university application processes.
    • Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to students.
  • Group Guidance and Counseling:
    • Organize information sessions for parents of senior students.
    • Guide senior students through the university application process via group work.
    • Conduct workshops on college essay writing, portfolio preparation, and other relevant topics.
  • International Students Recruitment (30%):
    • Formulate strategic plans for recruiting international students.
    • Represent NOIC Academy at international student recruitment fairs.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with agencies for international students' recruitment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above.
  • Not less than two years of experience in career counseling in a school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of global universities and admissions processes.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and engage with parents and students effectively.
