The Technical Support Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for remote troubleshooting of digital radiography hardware and software for veterinary customers. This role requires a strong understanding of DR, CR, Ultrasound, and laser functionality, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding and diagnosing issues, and identifying root cause through detailed analysis
  • Documenting steps to reproduce accurately
  • Utilizing strong customer and technical support skills to support Sound products and services to veterinary medical professionals
  • Troubleshooting and solving simple to highly complex hardware and software issues using a methodical approach with attention to detail
  • Managing multiple customer tickets without sacrificing accuracy or quality of service

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's or associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Technical certifications such as MCSE, MCP, or A+, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting software and hardware

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT)
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10
  • Previous experience with customer-facing ticketing systems (e.g., MS CRM, SalesForce, ServiceNOW)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, and professionalism
