We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Winnipeg Maintenance Team at StandardAero Limited. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day break/fix work on machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair work on complex production equipment and facility systems
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment uptime
  • Use machines, tools, and equipment necessary to carry out required tasks
  • Document modification status and configuration of equipment under repair or maintenance
  • Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and relevant manuals to identify required repairs
  • Schedule preventative maintenance work with Operators and Production managers
  • Perform assessments to determine required equipment, parts, or materials needed for repair or improvement work
  • Ensure buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition

Requirements

  • Holds or is working towards an industrial mechanic (millwright) certification
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, complex production equipment, facility systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to dismantle, repair, and assemble machines and equipment
  • Several years of job-related training or experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics, drawings, and installation manuals
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average work day
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software utilized for maintenance activities

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with occasional on-call shifts for facilities and equipment maintenance issues.
