Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at CP. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on shop machinery, machine tools, and other plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machines and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shop machinery and equipment
  • Work with blueprints, schematic drawings, and service manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Adapt to new methods, processes, and equipment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalence Diploma
  • Millwright or Industrial Electrical experience is considered an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and computer skills
  • Ability to work within strict safety guidelines and rules
  • CPKC certification pertaining to specific tasks and assignments
