Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

TINY HEARTS DAYCARE CENTER is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities, such as art, music, and dramatic play.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange the environment to ensure a safe and healthy space for children.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and report to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Child Abuse Registry check and Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and a team player attitude.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
