Job Overview

The Unitec Operator is responsible for operating the Unitec Automatic Palletizing machines, ensuring high presentation and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance and calibration of Unitec equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the Palletizing Coordinator to maximize the efficiency and throughput of the 3 Unitec autopalletizing machines.
  • Maintain accurate records of lot and variety changes, ensuring full traceability.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure all pallets are correctly counted.
  • Perform daily checks on equipment to prevent any potential issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one season running fruit packing or palletizing equipment required.
  • Unitec equipment experience preferred, with similar equipment experience also considered.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
  • Proficient in English or Spanish, with the ability to speak both languages preferred.
  • Well-organized and self-motivated individual with good computer competency.

Working Conditions

The role requires working in a farming environment with varying weather conditions and limited days off during the growing and packing season.
