Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Patrinos Steak House & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, monitor staff performance, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, train staff, conduct performance reviews, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Event Management: Manage events, including planning, organizing, and executing events to meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
