About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with clients and their caregivers to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat communication and swallowing problems resulting from stroke, head injuries, dementia, degenerative disorders, respiratory issues, and other medical complications.
  • Work in an inpatient or outpatient setting, providing clinical bedside swallowing assessments and modified barium swallow studies.
  • Collaborate with medical and allied health colleagues to provide a rewarding employment experience.

Requirements
  • A strong clinical background in speech-language pathology, with experience in dysphagia management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • A flexible work schedule and a willingness to learn new skills and bring new learning to the department.
Compensation

The new rate for this position, effective April 1, 2024, will be $42.27 to $52.81.
