We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Produce Department Manager to join our team at No Frills. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading the produce department to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and develop staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of product knowledge
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an attractive and inviting store environment
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to achieve budget targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store-wide goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Perform other duties as required to support the store's success
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a produce management role, preferably in a retail environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of produce products, including sourcing, handling, and storage
