Family Law Paralegal Position in Vancouver

Our client, a leading boutique law firm in British Columbia, is seeking a full-time Family Paralegal to join their team in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and opposing counsel to collect, review, and produce documents.
- Draft routine correspondence and prepare pleadings, including form F8 Financial Statements, affidavits, notices of application, and lists of documents.
- Review and prepare transcript summaries, and assist lawyers with trial preparations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
- Successful completion of a post-secondary LAA and/or paralegal program or equivalent experience.
- Thorough knowledge of BC Supreme Court Rules, court practices, and procedures, as well as filing deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the Family Law Act.
- Ability to work overtime if required, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and DivorceMate.
