About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at The Apple Bin. As a key member of our harvesting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality crops are harvested and prepared for market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and quality.
  • Clean the crops to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to maximize market value.
  • Hand harvest vegetables and pick row and orchard crops with precision and care.
  • Clean the work area to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

As a Harvesting Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions, including wet/damp, odours, and hot temperatures.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a repetitive task environment.
