Modern Niagara is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Toronto (Vaughan). As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing projects from vendors and job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving: Safely and accurately handle all incoming and outgoing projects from vendors and job sites.
- Material Handling: Load and unload delivery trucks, and perform quality inspections and inventory products coming back from job sites.
- Inventory Management: Perform inventory and cycle count of tools and products regularly, and enter incoming tools into tool tracking software.
- Communication: Liaise with Foreman and Project Managers on product being received and stored at the warehouse to facilitate efficient delivery of goods.
- Teamwork: Work as a team to keep the warehouse and environment clean, and assist with deliveries on occasion.
- A secondary school diploma is required.
- Experience with use of material handling equipment such as forklift is required.
- Comfortable using technology to look up and track work orders.
- Must be able to continuously lift heavy objects up to 50 lb.
- Must have good communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must hold a valid drivers license and have a record in good standing.
- Ability to read blueprints or engineering drawings is an asset.
- Inventory control software experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to work with tools and small assembly and repairs is an asset.
