About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our team in the Group Pregnancy Program. As a Midwife, you will provide safe, flexible, and patient-centered maternity care to childbearing individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide antenatal, delivery, and postpartum care to clients in a group care model
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal quality patient outcomes
  • Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues as partners in decision-making and care
  • Participate in leadership and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Midwives
  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience as a Midwife, with full scope an asset
  • Excellent physical assessment skills and proficiency in computer and writing skills
  • Familiarity with professional and hospital standards, guidelines, and procedures
Work Schedule

The successful candidate will be required to work 8 and 12 hour shifts (days, nights, holidays, and weekends). Please note that schedules may change due to operational needs.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $68.59, with an annual salary of $133,760.
