Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at ESSO PERFORMANCE CENTRE.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to meet business needs.
  • Order Merchandise: Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise as needed.
  • Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
  • Supervise Staff: Provide guidance and support to sales staff to ensure excellent customer service and high sales performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player.

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of sales staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
