Job Summary

My Big Tow Inc is seeking a skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for driving a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tow truck and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance on the tow truck.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience as an asset.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of the tow truck.
