Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our budget and making the most of our resources.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredients and supplies, manage budget and cost estimates, address customer complaints, and maintain records.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
