Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Bar Down as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the kitchen and dining hall, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers.
  • Conduct inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
Support for Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Bar Down, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, interacting with customers and staff daily. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service or a related field.
