Technical Expert, Engineering - Avionics and Electrical Systems

AAA Canada is seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert, Engineering - Avionics and Electrical Systems to collaborate with our teams to resolve complex aircraft system issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Operations, Methods, Quality, and Flight Operations to resolve Global 5500/6500/7500 aircraft system issues during completions activities, ground runs, flight testing, and delivery to end customers.
  • Provide troubleshooting procedures and disposition nonconformance reports related to aircraft systems (avionics, electrical, fuel, pneumatic, and/or hydromechanical).
  • Collaborate with Final Assembly Line (FAL), Integration, and Supplier Engineering teams to resolve broader issues.
  • Act as a first point of contact for any system engineering issue in production.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering (avionics, electrical, fuel, pneumatic, and/or hydromechanical).
  • Knowledge of specification, design, integration, test, and certification of aircraft systems.
  • Understanding of how aircraft systems integrate and interact with the overall aircraft.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English. French is a significant asset.
