We are seeking a skilled Taxi Dispatcher to join our team at Flat Ride Taxi Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews, ensuring seamless transportation services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate work records and logs to track vehicle operator performance and customer feedback.
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Process and transmit information to coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet customer demands.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Experience in transportation or logistics.
- Knowledge of dispatching software and equipment.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
