Job Title: Taxi Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Taxi Dispatcher to join our team at Flat Ride Taxi Inc.

Job Summary:

The Taxi Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, maintaining work records and logs, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle operator workloads and locations
  • Monitor and coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews to ensure efficient and safe transportation services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and respond to their inquiries and concerns
  • Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems to ensure timely and safe transportation
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in transportation or logistics an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
