Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Chef of India. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus for special events and daily service
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth and efficient service
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Will train
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
