About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating a sense of belonging and promoting inclusion among children. As an Activity Leader, Support & Inclusion, you will work closely with our team to provide individualized support and strategies to children with diverse needs, ensuring they have a meaningful and enjoyable experience in our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the staff team to create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs.
  • Provide individualized support to children within the program setting, as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans to support children with diverse needs.
  • Help children navigate conflicts and model positive behaviors.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a community environment that promotes global supports and inclusion for all children.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Experience working with children aged 5-12 with additional support needs.
  • Emergency First Aid and CRC – C & AED certification.
  • 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child Guidance, and/or Nutrition an asset.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs.
