Assistant Cashier Department Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Cashier Department Head to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support to the Cashier Department Head, coordinate and supervise daily operations, and ensure the department is functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to department staff
  2. Manage and supervise department daily operations and staff performance
  3. Handle customer complaints and build rapport with customers
  4. Assist with cash management, staff uniforms, and consumable items
  5. Coordinate in-store promotion activities
  6. Lead by example and perform all hands-on duties required in the Cashier Department
  7. Generate and follow up on various store management reports

Requirements:

  1. 2 years or more of experience as a cashier
  2. 2 years of supervising or managing experience
  3. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  5. High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ability to work in a noisy and odorous environment is required.
