Job Title: Scientist in Cancer Biology

We are seeking an exceptional Scientist in Cancer Biology to join our team at the British Columbia Cancer Research Institute (BCCRI). As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to the development of innovative cancer treatments and therapies.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer biology and a proven track record of research excellence. You will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and publishing research findings in top-tier scientific journals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in cancer biology, focusing on tumour development, cell plasticity, and metastasis
  • Develop and implement in vivo animal models of human solid tumors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance cancer research and develop new treatments
  • Teach molecular biology and medical science-related courses at the graduate and undergraduate level
Requirements:
  • PhD in cancer biology or a related area
  • At least 3 years of postdoctoral or equivalent experience
  • Strong publication record in top-tier scientific journals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
