Job Title: Planning Analyst

Belvika Trade & Packaging Ltd. is seeking a skilled Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and planning customer scheduling requirements based on forecasted demand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and coordinate daily material requirements with customers and internal teams.
  • Establish production plans for short and long-term requirements, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Plan and schedule feedstock and packaging materials to support production schedules.
  • Provide regular status updates to customers and internal teams through various communication channels.
  • Analyze and validate schedules, participating in weekly customer conference calls with the demand planning team.
  • Forecast the impact of proposed changes on schedules and production timelines.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure all customer requirements are met within required timelines.
  • Analyze and report productivity on projects, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct current and future forecasting analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service or planning, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods environment.
  • Procurement experience is an asset.
  • Previous background in scheduling, forecasting, and planning is beneficial.
  • College equivalent or higher education.
  • Knowledge of distribution, inventory, and supply chain practices.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, short lead-times, and adjust priorities in a professional manner.
