Retail Store Manager

At East Side, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
Our retail store is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor. You will be working in a team environment and will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
