Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JB Gambler Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our store is well-staffed at all times.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain our store's inventory, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
