About the Role

Parkin Architects Limited is a renowned architectural practice firm with a rich history of delivering innovative and practical design solutions. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day BIM operations for a project team, working closely with production staff, project managers, consultants, and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the project BIM Execution Plan to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage and monitor Data Sets, including Room, Doors, Windows, and other relevant information.
  • Perform Revit Model maintenance, including recreating models, checking for Revit warnings, and purging unused families and groups.
  • Assist the project team with troubleshooting and training, and implement workflows in the project with the support of the office BIM Manager.
  • Coordinate project BIM coordination and clash detection meetings to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Source and maintain project content with the help of the office BIM Manager.
  • Coordinate with other consultants' Revit/BIM Models to ensure seamless integration.
  • Coordinate the handover of information at project milestones to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Work with Project Managers to align production team expectations and meet submission dates.
  • Contribute to project production and coordination efforts to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to BIM to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Revit experience required.
  • Professional experience in BIM coordination and implementation.
  • Proficient in Revit and other BIM software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
  • Strong communication skills and experience as a BIM Coordinator on a multi-person project is required.
  • Basic knowledge of programs such as DRofus, Dynamo, Enscape, and CTC Tools is a benefit.
