Mental Health Therapist II

Job Summary:
Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning to our clients. You will also provide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primary care physicians, and other community agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
- Provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment plans, and lead groups.
- Assist the Program Manager in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with CDMHP's, inpatient facilities, and ensure proper protocols are followed for hospitalization authorization and during discharge planning.
- Provide clinical supervision to other clinicians who are pursuing licensing requirements.
- Support the agency efforts to ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
- Active, approved license from the Washington State Department of Health.
- Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
- Hold and maintain an active Washington State Mental Health Counselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Independent Clinical Social Worker License.
