At Tari Labs, LLC., our Transaction Services and Corporate Legal Enterprise Team provides professional support to all parts of the organization. Lawyers within the team specialize in services that support infrastructure and commercial projects, construction, real estate and leasing, lending, privacy protection, government affairs, litigation, and contract management.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Transaction Lawyer, Corporate Counsel to provide high-quality legal advice, research, opinions and service to internal clients on commercial real estate transactions and corporate/commercial matters, impacting the Realty Portfolio and related business lines.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide legal advice to executives and business units to support decision making.
  • You will ensure corporate compliance with current legislation and policies, and contribute to strategy development.
  • You will provide legal support to internal stakeholders.
  • You will provide litigation support to business units.

What We're Looking For:

  • A few years of experience practicing law in commercial real estate.
  • Conducting title reviews and preparing title reports.
  • A University degree in Law (LLB or JD).
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate, property and land management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Understanding business issues quickly, exercising good judgment in providing timely and practical legal advice, and working effectively in a team-based environment.

Compensation: $108,900 - $163,400 per year

This position is classified as Legal (L1), with an estimated salary range based on skills, knowledge and experience.

Candidates with up to 6 years of experience as a licensed lawyer in Ontario may be considered for this role.
