Job Title: Inventory Receiving Supervisor for Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Receiving Supervisor to join our supply chain management team at McCain Foods Limited.

About the Role:
  • As an Inventory Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of ingredients and supplies used in our manufacturing facility.
  • You will work closely with our production team to maintain adequate inventories of required production products and complete daily order planning for the movement of materials.
  • Additionally, you will perform all tasks related to our computerized inventory control system, including accurate records of all receipts, issues, warehouse and location transfers, and scheduled inventory cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, handling, storage, and issuing all goods in accordance with HACCP and WHMIS regulations.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date daily paper backup of all inventory movements and accurate records of all non-stocked warehouse items.
  • Providing a smooth effective paper flow procedure to ensure all departments concerned are notified daily.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area, including dry storage, packaging staging areas, and all storage racks.
  • Shipping of return goods, pallets, shooks, corrugated corners, etc.
  • Supporting the off-loading of cooking oil in a safe and efficient manner and maintaining sufficient production levels of cooking oil in all three storage tanks.
  • Knowing and understanding all packaging material backups and providing the production department with correct and adequate packing materials.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate computer skills required, SAP knowledge required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, communicate to management as required.
  • High school graduate and can perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain good working relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advocate for safe and respectful workplace, and supports a team-based atmosphere.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organization skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties including some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
