**Logistics & Inventory Admin - 8 Month Seasonal Contract**

**Wage: $22/ Hour**

HyTech Production Ltd. is an independent seed production & treating company based in Lethbridge, Alberta with operations in British Columbia, USA, and Chile. HyTech is an industry leader in providing seed production services to plant breeders, trait developers and seed distribution companies from around the world.

HyTech Production Ltd. is seeking an experienced person with administrative, inventory and logístical abilities to join our Seed team. This position will be based in Coaldale, AB. As Logistics & Inventory Admin, you will work directly with our Logistics & Inventory Manager & Facility Staff to assist in the movement and tracking of seed & supplies into and out of our location.

**The Logistics & Inventory Admin is responsible for**:

- Assisting with Coordination & tracking of movements of seed within Canada, as well as internationally - the US, Australia, Chile & other countries
- Interacting with Customs & other Brokers providing documents & information needed to move seed
- Assisting with the ordering & shipping of supplies necessary to support our seed processing activity
- Gathering & shipping of seed samples to various labs for analysis
- Assisting with the coordination of trucks to pick up seed & supplies and have them delivered to different locations
- Inventory data entry, verification & multi-site inventory transactions using an internal software program

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in agriculture, or extensive work experience in an administrative role will be considered
- Valid class 5 driver’s license & a clean driving record
- Experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets:

- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Strong organizational skills & capable of working in a fast pace work environment
- Great communication skills & an ability to work independently or within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Agricultural experience or knowledge would be considered an asset

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
