Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kumon. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist colleagues in maintaining a clean and organized childcare environment
  • Develop and implement activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development in children
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to maintain accurate records and track child progress
  • Engage children in educational activities, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and using the bathroom
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange the childcare area for meals and rest periods
  • Contribute to staff meetings to discuss child progress and address any concerns
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a childcare setting
  • Temporary position, 30-40 hours per week
  • Fluent in English
