We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Engineer to support the launch and operation of our North America Battery Test Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workflow, tracking status, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the lab's successful launch and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the launch and operation of the Battery Test Lab, including training, documentation, and workflow management.
- Coordinate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop recovery plans as needed.
- Interface with Product Development and Validation teams to ensure current and future test needs are met.
- Develop and manage test schedules and forecasts to meet product development testing plans while optimizing test equipment usage.
- Ensure testing resources are efficiently allocated and regularly report test status, equipment utilization, and issue tracking.
- Minimum of years of relevant experience in project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Project and experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Experience with the planning and execution of large capital improvement projects.
- Experience working with product testing in laboratory or manufacturing environments.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Previous project management experience or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Years of experience in a related field.
The successful candidate will be expected to work mainly onsite at our ARDC facility in Windsor, ON, with some opportunities to work remotely. Travel to the US CTC or third-party facility in MI may be required for meetings.
