About the Job
This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care in the Endoscopy Specialty Day & Night Care department. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting health and healing, providing education, and achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medication, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify needs, and prioritize interventions to achieve patient goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring timely communication with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saskatchewan.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
