Insurance Broker Associate

Aon is seeking an Insurance Broker Associate to join our team. As an Insurance Broker Associate, you will be responsible for operating as part of the National Centre of Excellence for Construction, serving clients across Canada.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with Account Executives in assigned regions to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business in the Construction and Contracting segment.

Additional responsibilities include processing and/or issuing new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.

As an Insurance Broker Associate, you will also be responsible for preparing new business and renewals, analyzing client-specific risk exposure, and preparing and presenting marketing proposals for renewals and new business.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of commercial insurance or broking experience required
  • Experience with construction domain is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both verbally and written
  • Client-focused and confirmed relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Shown ability to prioritize challenging requirements and deadlines under pressure
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package
