Job Overview

The Senior MEP Coordinator - Project Management and Supervision Lead will be responsible for managing all on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection construction activities assigned under their responsibility. This role requires both project management and on-site supervision skills to ensure the successful completion of construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractor budgets, schedules, and changes for MEP activities
  • Interface with the design team to manage RFIs, FCRs, shop drawing approvals, and work method statements
  • Conduct cost control and provide monthly closure information for assigned activities
  • Predict and plan ahead to anticipate potential constraints
  • Lead pull plan activities for Fire Fighting, Mechanical, and Electrical works
  • Monitor work performance and efficiency of subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedule are followed
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department for PICO activities and EoR inspections
  • Attend Construction meetings to provide information about progress and challenges

Requirements

This role requires a four-year construction or engineering-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, including experience with Mechanical and Electrical disciplines, is also required. Experience on transit or rail projects and ability to evaluate trade performance are essential.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
