Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Marigold Unique Flavour is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to establish work schedules.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
