Developmental Service Worker

Momentum is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team in a group home setting. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide critical support to individuals with mental health disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide suicide and crisis intervention, resolving conflict situations and supervising activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs, accompanying them to appointments and social outings.
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our clients.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with physically demanding tasks.
